Googly -eyed cartoon characters are increasingly being used to market food to kids – both healthy food and not so healthy food. The latest entrant into the field is Disney who is showcasing their characters on various fruits and vegetables as well as a wider range of processed foods as well. Keep an eye out as Disney starts to become more transparent as to how it addresses the issues of childhood obesity.
