Tonight is the anniversary celebration for DDM. It should be a happy occassion but it is slightly tinged by the rapid political developments going on in the Ukraine while we are here. Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko on Sept. 8 dismissed his Cabinet amid allegations of corruption. While things are still stable, it does sound like there is a lot of work ahead for the country. That said, the hospitality we have experienced since we’ve been here has been amazing.
